Why Advertise on Malaysian Highways

A Captive Audience

Traffic slows down at toll plazas, interchanges and the evening jam, giving drivers and passengers time to actually read your ad.

Seen From Far Away

Highway panels go up to 60ft x 40ft and sit high above the road, so your brand is visible long before drivers reach it.

Daily Repetition

Klang Valley commuters use the same highway to and from work, passing your billboard twice a day, five days a week.

Reach Beyond KL

The NSE, Karak Highway and LPT carry outstation drivers too, especially during the balik kampung rush before Hari Raya and Chinese New Year.

Highways We Cover

Every highway reaches a different crowd. Here’s where our highway billboards are and who you’ll catch on each route.

NSE (PLUS Highway)

Malaysia’s main north to south route, with spots at interchanges and R&R stops from Alor Setar and Juru near the Penang Bridge to Ipoh, Tapah, Seremban and Skudai.

LDP

Our biggest highway cluster, with over 60 placements past Kelana Jaya, SS2, Sunway, One Utama, Sri Damansara and Puchong.

Federal Highway

The main link from KL to PJ, Subang and Shah Alam, with spots near Mid Valley, Section 51A, Subang Jaya and the Batu Tiga Toll Plaza.

ELITE & KLIA Expressway

The airport route, catching travellers and business commuters heading to and from KLIA, Putrajaya and USJ.

NKVE

Damansara Toll, Bukit Jelutong, Jalan Duta and Kota Damansara, where traffic slows at toll plazas and interchanges.

Sprint Highway

Running past Damansara Heights, Bukit Kiara, Sri Hartamas and Bandar Utama, with overhead bridges, digital screens and pillar wraps.

MRR2

KL’s middle ring road through Ampang, Cheras, Taman Melawati and Batu Caves, with both static and digital billboards.

Karak Highway & LPT

The route to Genting Highlands and the East Coast, with spots near the Gombak Toll Plaza, Genting Sempah and the LPT towards Kuantan.

KL-Seremban, MEX, DUKE & NPE

City links around Sungai Besi, Putrajaya, Jalan Duta and Sunway, plus the KL-Seremban Highway into the city. See them on the map

Highway Billboard Formats

The right format depends on where the site is and how fast traffic is moving. Here’s what you can book along our highways.

Triple-sided billboard at Damansara Toll on the NKVE

Triple-Sided Billboards

Three faces at major interchanges like Damansara Toll and Bukit Jelutong on the NKVE, catching traffic from every direction.
Free-standing uni-pole billboard beside a Malaysian highway

Free-Standing Billboards

Tall single-pole and double-sided structures along the NSE, LDP and Federal Highway, visible from a long way down the road.
Overhead bridge billboard at Bukit Kiara on the Sprint Highway

Overhead Bridges

Panels on bridges that cross the highway, sitting right in the driver’s line of sight on the LDP, Sprint and ELITE.
Digital gantry screen across the Federal Highway at Section 51A

Digital Highway Screens

LED billboards and gantries on the LDP, Federal Highway, MRR2 and KL-Seremban Highway. See all digital screens

What to Check Before Booking a Highway Billboard

Two billboards on the same highway can perform very differently. These are the details worth checking on every listing.

Traffic Direction

Each face only reaches one direction of traffic. Our listings say which way each panel faces, such as northbound, southbound or towards KL.

On-Side or Off-Side

An on-side billboard sits on the same side as the traffic it faces, while an off-side one sits across the road. We note this on the listing where it applies.

Speed & Slowdowns

Sites near toll plazas, interchanges and known jam spots give drivers more time to read your ad than an open stretch of road.

Keep the Artwork Simple

Drivers only have a few seconds, so go for a big visual, a short headline and a clear logo. Skip long copy, small text and QR codes.

What Affects Highway Billboard Cost in Malaysia

Highway billboard rates depend on the site, so we quote each location you shortlist. These are the things that move the price.

Highway & Location

A billboard on the LDP or Federal Highway is priced differently from one at an R&R up north. Traffic figures on our listings come from media owners, so treat them as estimates.

Size & Format

Rates change with the panel size, from standard highway boards to 60ft x 40ft supersites, triple-sided structures and overhead bridges.

Campaign Length

Many highway sites are offered for 3 months, and some only for 6 or 12 months. Every listing shows its minimum booking period.

Printing & Installation

For static billboards, producing and installing the skin is a separate cost from the space, and it depends on the size and material.

Highway Billboard Advertising FAQs

How much does a highway billboard cost in Malaysia?

It depends on the highway, the exact site, the panel size and how long you book it for, plus printing and installation for static boards. A supersite on the LDP is priced very differently from a board at an R&R on the NSE. Send us the locations you like from the OOH Library and we’ll quote you for each one.

Which highway is best for my brand?

It depends on who you want to reach. The LDP, Federal Highway and Sprint are packed with Klang Valley commuters, ELITE and the KLIA Expressway catch airport travellers, and the NSE and Karak Highway reach outstation and holiday traffic. Tell us your target audience and we’ll suggest a mix.

What is the minimum booking for a highway billboard?

Many highway sites are offered for a minimum of 3 months, and some are only available for 6 or 12 months. Each listing shows its minimum booking period, and digital highway screens can often be booked for shorter periods.

Can I choose which direction my billboard faces?

Yes. Many of our highway sites are double-sided, and each face is booked separately. The listing tells you which direction each panel faces, so you can pick the traffic you want, such as cars heading into KL in the morning.

Should I choose a static or digital highway billboard?

A static billboard gives you the whole face 24/7 for the full booking, which suits long-term brand building. A digital screen shares its time with a few other brands but lets you run shorter campaigns and change your creative. Compare our billboards and digital screens.
